oh and try to appreciate what you have now .don't be fussy about small stuff .
look at the people in Vietnam , Phillipines and Indonesia .
Typhoon , earthquake , soon-to-be tsunami ...
and floods are happening in India as well .
The world is probably gonna end very soon .
not that that i really want it but it could be true .
so let's try and donate our spare change to donation boxes ...
the amount doesn't count , even if its just 10 cents .
but it must be from your heart .
if you donate 10 cents just for laughs , then screw off .
the world would be a better place without you .
There are some people really trying to help other people .
i may not be the best example but i have tried .
i've donating to almost every donation box or person i've seen .
not to brag but i think this is how this should go about .
not everyone is as fortunate as us .
we in Singapore are safe from any earthquakes or tsunamis .
why ?
cause our neighbours are protecting us .
we may feel slight tremors but those who actually feel the full brunt of it suffer .
we take too many things for granted .
so if our neighbours are protecting us , they get hit .
so i feel it should be our job to help them in any way .
donating money , food or whatever .
another thing is global warming .
some people on the aircon in their homes 24/7 .
use a fan damn it !
you could save money if you switch to a fan .
secondly , you can help save the earth .
an aircon consumes more energy than a fan .
can you imagine oning the aircon for the whole day .
Ridiculous !
this is our one and only home .
If we don't wanna protect it , who will ?
aliens ?
humans .
thats the reason for all these shit that's happening .
i hope a good number of people take a look at this .
humans , cut down trees , release smoke from factories into the air .
i understand that it is impossible to prevent smoke but reducing it very very possible .
buses and trains are trying to get the public to get them to take these modes of transports .
this will help reduce carbon emissions .
and stop wasting electricity damn it .
the world is heating up .
sea levels are rising .
wake up people !
the world is drowning .
if this continues , then let our children and our children's children suffer .
it may be possible a few island to be wiped of the map in the years to come .
and the thing is , there's no way of reversing these effects .
holes in the ozone layer .
WTH people .
stop cutting trees to make way for housing .
we have more than enough places for us to stay .
and old ones , demolish them .
make way for more trees .
this will help slow down the already depleting ozone layer .
we may not live to see the day but there will be time where the ozone layers will be no more .
UV rays will penetrate the earth ...
harming our bodies .
temperatures heating up .
crops damaged .
droughts , earthquakes , tsunamis , typhoons , hurricanes and many other disasters .
damn it people , help the earth .
this is our only home !
if there's any another planet that we can live in , fine .
but i doubt we will be able to reach it alive .
years , decades , centuries .
and will we be able to transport EVERYONE to that planet ?
i don't think so .
so people help save the environment .
people are suffering and those not affected should be thankful and help them .
i end this post with a solemn request .
have an open heart , reach out to others .
